Boro graduated some solid talent after last season, but what does return is a nice mix of a young and talented group of lowerweights with a healthy dose of upperclassmen in the upperweights.
Down low the Panthers will be led by junior Ryan Harter, a District champion and 4th place Region medal winner, and sophomore Ryan Budzek who 25 matches as a frosh and placed 2nd at the District. They, along with returning lettermen Avery Brecka, Adam Moslowitz, and Kevin Kelly, are joined by promising freshman Dan Nobbs to make up what should be a very tough bottom half for the Panthers.
Up top, seniors Brandon Cusack and Andrew Matter are both capable of flirting with 30 wins if all goes well. If that does happen, it will be a huge plus as Boro breaks in a handful of newcomers into some of the remaing upperweight spots.
Point Boro has won division titles in three of the last five seasons, and will once again be in the max for another C-Central crown. There's several wrestlers here that can make a lot of noise at Districts and the Panthers should once again be well represented at the Region tournament.
Wrestler To Watch - (Jr) Ryan Harter
Harter came up just short in his bid for a trip to Atlantic City in 2011, falling to Brick Memorial's Joe Ghione, an eventual state placer, in the 3rd place match at Regions. He'll once again be in the mix for a trip to Boardwalk Hall, and should be a 30+ match winner in 2012.

Boro graduated some solid talent after last season, but what does return is a nice mix of a young and talented group of lowerweights with a healthy dose of upperclassmen in the upperweights.
Down low the Panthers will be led by junior Ryan Harter, a District champion and 4th place Region medal winner, and sophomore Ryan Budzek who 25 matches as a frosh and placed 2nd at the District. They, along with returning lettermen Avery Brecka, Adam Moslowitz, and Kevin Kelly, are joined by promising freshman Dan Nobbs to make up what should be a very tough bottom half for the Panthers.
Up top, seniors Brandon Cusack and Andrew Matter are both capable of flirting with 30 wins if all goes well. If that does happen, it will be a huge plus as Boro breaks in a handful of newcomers into some of the remaing upperweight spots.
Point Boro has won division titles in three of the last five seasons, and will once again be in the max for another C-Central crown. There's several wrestlers here that can make a lot of noise at Districts and the Panthers should once again be well represented at the Region tournament.
Wrestler To Watch - (Jr) Ryan Harter
Harter came up just short in his bid for a trip to Atlantic City in 2011, falling to Brick Memorial's Joe Ghione, an eventual state placer, in the 3rd place match at Regions. He'll once again be in the mix for a trip to Boardwalk Hall, and should be a 30+ match winner in 2012.
